Ranew's Companies is seeking Part Prep, Part Loading & Part Packaging personnel to join our team in Thomaston, GA.

Job Descriptions
Part Prep - The Paint Prep role is to include but not limited to preparing the product for painting by washing, masking & demasking, sanding, buffing and caulking product per instructions. Paint Prep position may also include wash titration. The Paint Prep position is responsible for moving the product to designated spots.
Part Loader - A Part Loader loads/unloads components onto the automatic paint conveyor line to ensure optimum coverage of finish. They pull parts according to a request made by the assembly lines. They remove painted parts and deliver parts and kits to specified departments. They also arrange parts in racks and place racks on the assembly line conveyor. These parts may differ in size and weights.
Part Packer - Part Packaging handles a variety of different materials and labeling. This position also inspects for defected items and takes records of the items packed. Packaging is integral to daily goals of the company.
Location: Thomaston, GA Salary: $14.00 - $15.00 /hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift) Job Type: Full-time (2nd Shift)
Part Loader Responsibilities:
- Hang parts in preparation of paint using a variety of hooks and racks.
- Clean and prepare part surfaces for paint using alkaline cleaners, pretreatments or solvents.
- Follow shop schedule and travelers for each job.
- Mask treads and plug holes as required.
- Buff parts with visible defects.
- Sand parts to prepare for the paint process.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
- Handle product safely using a forklift, cranes or carts to move product.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Drop parts to pallets or dry racks once paint is dry.
- Maintain and keep area safe, organized and clean.
- Enter times and close jobs on a computer after completion.
- Effectively manage time to ensure on-time delivery of every project.
Part Prep Responsibilities:
- Manually move packages from one place to another.
- Pack products in boxes or other packaging by hand to keep a record of the items packed or moved.
- Communicate with co-workers to ensure the safe and on-time delivery of goods.
- Handle physically demanding movements like pushing, pulling, bending down and lifting packages.
- Responsible for handling packages without dropping or other brisk movements that could damage them.
Part Packaging Responsibilities:
